Painting with the color Red is not a color I generally choose, various shades of Red like Pink and Maroon. This painting for me signifies hurt, disappointment and anger. I had an emotional awakening a few days ago. I realized that although I did some work on my pain, I hadn't done enough. So I painted this and it's clearly a start to uncovering and moving out the sadness.
